First, work out what kind of retreat you mean

The word retreat is doing a lot of work in Phuket. Two packages with similar photos can offer completely different levels of support.

Managed programme

The organiser plans the week

Training, food, personal coaching, check-ins and recovery are coordinated for you. This is the closest match for someone who wants accountability and fewer daily decisions.

Fitness resort

Everything is on one site

You stay near the gym and choose from a broad timetable. Meals and selected coaching may be included, but the day can be more self-directed than a hosted transformation retreat.

Training camp

Training comes first

A Muay Thai or fitness gym bundles class access with accommodation and sometimes meals or a food card. It can be excellent value, but you may need to manage workload and recovery yourself.

Fixed-date retreat

One group, one itinerary

Everyone arrives together for a specific week. Excursions, group meals and shared challenges usually matter as much as the classes, making this the most naturally social format.

What people want from a Phuket fitness retreat

While putting this guide together, I read through recent discussions in the Fitness Street Phuket Community. Most people were asking similar practical questions: Where should I stay? What is included? Will someone plan my training? Is it suitable for beginners or solo travellers?

A typical wish list includes a daily training plan, personal coaching, healthy prepared meals, recovery sessions and regular progress checks. Location matters too—most visitors want to stay close enough to their gym that getting there never becomes a chore. People travelling alone often look for a social group, while beginners want to know that sessions can be adapted to their level.

Titan, Prime Revive, BeFitreat, PhuketFit and Phuket Cleanse were among the names mentioned most often. However, experienced visitors also recommended building a retreat yourself: choose a gym on Fitness Street, hire a private coach, arrange measured meals and book recovery sessions separately. It takes a little more planning, but it gives you much more control over your schedule and budget.

These recommendations reflect individual community experiences, so it is still worth checking current packages, reviews and inclusions before booking.

Phuket fitness-retreat comparison

The prices below come from provider-controlled pages. Where a reliable public total was not available, the table says quote required rather than guessing. The order is not a quality ranking.

Which programme fits which trip?

Fitness Street + full planningPrime Revive or BeFitreat

Both are built around the Soi Ta-iad ecosystem rather than one isolated resort. Compare meal coverage and the amount of one-to-one coaching carefully.

Titan’s top tier publishes five PT sessions per week alongside meals, classes, scans and recovery. Request a current total before comparing value.

Clear packaged priceAction Point

The seven-day Total Fitness package has one of the clearest published inclusion lists, including room, transfers, food, PT, Muay Thai, massage and recovery.

Broad on-site timetablePhuketFit

A good fit for visitors who want many classes and meals on one site but still prefer some freedom. Remember to add the room price.

Hotel and gym comfortSTAY Wellbeing

Suited to a resort-style trip with a large gym and wellness facilities. Resolve its conflicting public package information at checkout.

Wellness-led experiencePhuket Cleanse

Fitness is substantial, but food, workshops, recovery and general wellness have a larger role than at a conventional fight or strength camp.

Muay Thai firstTiger, Bangtao or Sumalee

These are stronger candidates when skill training is the main purpose and you do not need a retreat manager planning every day.

Small social cohortA fixed-date retreat

Look at the live listings below. A shared arrival date and itinerary usually create more group connection than an open-start package.

Provider-by-provider notes

Prime Revive

A managed Fitness Street programme with open start dates. Its current site lists two weekly PT sessions, group strength and high-intensity training, private Muay Thai, a hike, weekly massage, recovery and body-composition reviews. Lite, Premium and Crown packages use different accommodation but the same programme.

The important catch is food: the programme lists two meals per day, a shake and a snack, but not dinner. Published one-week prices start at £700 for Lite, £850 for Premium and £1,250 for Crown.

BeFitreat

A hosted Fitness Street option using Tiger Muay Thai classes. Its current packages range from a flexible fitness stay to fuller body-transformation support with PT, meals, check-ins, massage and ice bath.

The package builder did not expose a stable price during our check, and public wording about the entry package’s meals was not perfectly consistent. Generate a quote for your dates and ask for the daily meal schedule in writing.

Titan Fitness Camp

Several levels of structure on Fitness Street. Train & Stay is the simple base; Fitness, Weight Loss and Transformation progressively add meals, nutrition support, personal coaching, body scans and recovery.

The Transformation page lists five PT sessions each week, three meals and two shakes on programme days. Meals are described Monday–Saturday. The official pages reviewed did not provide a dependable current total, so compare it using a written quote.

PhuketFit

A self-contained Rawai programme with transparent programme pricing. The current price page lists ฿29,557 for 7 days, ฿56,159 for 14 days, ฿79,805 for 21 days and ฿100,495 for 28 days. Those are programme-only totals.

Food, classes, coaching support, body scans and recovery facilities are included. Accommodation starts at ฿845 per night and changes with season and demand. A room booking includes airport pickup, but the return transfer is extra.

Action Point

One of the easiest packages to price from public information. Its seven-day Total Fitness retreat is listed at ฿41,000 with six hotel nights, airport transfers, food, two PT sessions, two private Muay Thai sessions, two massages and daily sauna and ice bath. The seven-day Weight Loss package is listed at ฿44,900.

Confirm the current timetable, room and transfer details for your dates. Treat transformation and weight-loss language as the provider’s description, not a promised result.

STAY Wellbeing

A polished Rawai resort with a large gym and wellness facilities. Its current store lists ฿45,900 for 8 days and 7 nights. Current retreat information describes accommodation, personal training, up to 50 group classes a week, recovery, assessment, meals and transport.

An older STAY page still shows a lower ฿43,000 figure and different meal wording. Use the live checkout or a written quote as the source of truth. The FAQ says the package is unavailable from 15 December to 28 February and is non-refundable, although it remains valid for 12 months.

Phuket Cleanse

A wider wellness programme that still contains meaningful training. The published low-season rate starts at US$280 per night for a solo Standard room. It includes three meals daily, classes, laundry, recovery, three massages per seven nights and one weekly private Muay Thai session.

This is not a like-for-like substitute for a strength or fight camp. It suits someone who actively wants nutrition, recovery, workshops and wellness to occupy more of the week. Add 7% VAT to the published rate.

Maximum Fitness

A straightforward Patong gym-and-hotel bundle. Its retreat page lists ฿35,900 for one week with seven Radisson RED nights, gym access, four private sessions, three meals, a smoothie and a protein shake each day.

The page does not describe the same level of retreat hosting, group accountability or recovery programming as the managed options above. Prices may also vary by season.

Premium performance and health-led stays

These programmes sit at the luxury, clinical or sports-resort end of the market. They may be useful for travellers who value privacy, diagnostics or resort comfort, but they should not be compared directly with a social Fitness Street camp.

Luxury active wellness Layan Life by Anantara

The current four-night-or-longer offer includes full board and a choice of three-day wellness programmes, including Active for Life. It starts at ฿40,500 before 18.7% tax and service charge.

Private performance and recovery Amanpuri

A tailored, enquiry-only programme with movement, recovery and individually selected services. It is more private and recovery-led than a conventional group fitness camp.

Sports-resort programme Thanyapura

The 7–30 day weight-management programme combines consultation, PT, nutrition and sports access. The seven-day programme is listed at ฿34,500, but the page does not establish that accommodation is included.

Muay Thai and training-camp alternatives

If your priority is training volume rather than a managed transformation programme, a camp package can cost less and give you more freedom. Check what the food language actually means.

Building a DIY Fitness Street retreat

A managed retreat is not automatically better. Soi Ta-iad is compact enough that an experienced traveller can combine a room, gym membership, private coaching, measured food and recovery without buying one package.

1. Choose an anchor gym

Build around the training you will actually attend

Start with strength and conditioning, Muay Thai, BJJ or mixed training. Use MyFitMate’s Fitness Street schedules to see how the week fits together.

2. Add personal coaching

Buy expertise where it matters

One or two private sessions can provide technique, scaling and a sensible weekly plan without turning the whole holiday into a managed package.

3. Solve food in advance

Decide how many meals need structure

Use nearby meal-prep or calorie-listed venues for the meals you want controlled, then leave room for normal dinners and social plans.

4. Schedule recovery

Do not treat it as leftover time

Place massage, mobility, sauna or ice bath around the training week, and protect at least one genuinely easy day.

The trade-off is coordination. Nobody is automatically watching your total workload, changing the plan when fatigue builds or introducing you to a ready-made group. Be honest about whether that freedom will help you or leave you doing less than intended.

Questions to ask before booking

  • Which meals are included, on which days? Ask specifically about dinner, Sunday, arrival day and departure day.
  • Is accommodation inside the price? Confirm the exact room, number of nights, private or shared occupancy and any seasonal supplement.
  • How much coaching is genuinely one-to-one? Separate PT, private Muay Thai, group classes, assessments and informal check-ins.
  • Is there a planned daily itinerary? Unlimited classes are useful, but they are not the same as a coach managing the week.
  • What is included in recovery? Facility access, a booked massage and a treatment allowance are different benefits.
  • What happens on rest days? Ask about food, classes, transport and staff support on Sunday.
  • Are tax, transfers and payment fees included? Request one final total in the provider’s native currency.
  • What can be changed or refunded? Get cancellation, injury, date-change and travel-disruption terms in writing.
  • Can sessions be scaled? Tell the organiser about your current training level, injuries and any accessibility needs before paying.

Sources and limitations

This guide was researched from current provider pages, booking information, MyFitMate’s event listings and recurring themes in recent Fitness Street community discussions. Community comments were used to understand what travellers ask for and which names they encounter. They were not treated as proof that a provider is safe, effective or suitable for every guest.

Prices and inclusions were checked on 8 September 2026. Accommodation rates, exchange rates, taxes, schedules and availability can change. Provider descriptions of weight loss, transformation, detoxification, recovery or other outcomes are marketing claims unless supported by suitable independent evidence. MyFitMate has not audited every facility or stayed on every programme.

Main provider sources

Before you pay Use this guide to build a shortlist, then ask the provider for a dated, itemised quote and current terms. If you have an injury or health condition, discuss whether the training load is appropriate with a qualified healthcare professional and the retreat’s coaching team.
