Coco’s Run Club: a Saturday café meetup in Nai Harn
Meet at Coco’s Nai Harn Café at 07:00 on Saturdays. The club’s current Instagram profile advertises a free community run with 3, 5, 8 and 10 km choices and welcomes all paces. Its route announcement describes the 3 km and 5 km options as flat, with hills on the 8 km and 10 km routes.
This is a useful starting point if you want a shorter distance, or if friends want to run different distances from the same café. Stay for coffee or breakfast afterwards if you like.
Soi Saturdays: a free run from Fitness Street
Saturdays at 08:00, meeting at Trooper Eats. Soi Saturdays describes its run as free, friendly and conversational-paced, making it a straightforward option if you are already training on Soi Ta-iad and want to meet people outside your gym.
The current profile and October announcements name Trooper Eats as the start. Earlier posts used a meeting point outside Superfit, so use the current Trooper meeting point. The checked announcement does not give a fixed distance or a separate walking group.

PhuketRun: pick a pace group at Bang Wad Dam
Saturday warm-up at 06:40, running from 07:00. PhuketRun meets at Bang Wad Dam in Kathu. Its public profile advertises distances from 6 to 24 km.
Choose from four pace groups:
- 5:00 min/km or faster
- 5:30 min/km
- 6:00 min/km
- 7:30 min/km — “sexy pace”
These are minutes per kilometre; choose the group closest to your comfortable running pace. The club’s weekly post and Telegram chat give the meeting pin and distances for that run.
CULT Sunday Run Club: 6 km or 12 km from Rawai
Meet at The Cult Fitness Society Rawai at 07:00 on Sundays. The organiser’s recurring-run announcement offers 6 km and 12 km routes, welcomes all levels and invites runners to turn up. It describes the session as a Zone 2 group run at your own pace.
Choose this if Rawai is a convenient starting point and you want a longer option alongside the shorter route. The Sunday group run is separate from CULT’s coached gym classes and Tuesday Performance Run; those have their own booking arrangements.

Abyss Track Night: Wednesday evening at Surakul Stadium
Meet at Surakul Stadium at 18:15 on Wednesdays. Abyss’s website gives a simple sequence: meet at 18:15, warm up at 18:30 and start running at 18:45. It welcomes all paces and invites people to join at the track.
This is the option for runners who enjoy a structured group workout. The session changes each week, so read the workout announcement rather than expecting a fixed-distance social loop. Arrive for the warm-up, even if the running portion starts later.
CULT has also advertised a separate, free shuttle from Rawai, leaving its gym at 17:30 with 12 seats booked through the CULT app. A shuttle reservation is for transport; it is not a booking for the track session. Use the app for the available departure on your date.

Titan Big Buddha Run: a hill climb from Fitness Street
Titan’s website gives a Wednesday departure at 07:00 in the camp’s truck. The group starts at the foot of the hill for a 4.5 km steep climb, with walking, jogging and running all part of the session. Titan’s September–October timetable also lists the run at 07:00.
This gym-led outing is included in Titan’s Fitness Program. Visitors outside a Titan programme can ask reception about joining and transport; a separate run price is not published. The hill route suits people who want an uphill challenge alongside their Fitness Street training.

Eagle’s Big Buddha Run: a Wednesday hill session
Eagle Muay Thai’s timetable says to meet at the gym at 07:15 on Wednesdays, if it is not raining. The gym describes the uphill distance as 5.5 km. Its run information welcomes different speeds and says the group waits at the top.
The climb makes this a different outing from a flat café run. Eagle describes a return by car; contact the gym about joining and a return seat before travelling there. A public visitor price is not stated. The run announcement does not establish access inside the Big Buddha temple complex.
OTW Run Club: city routes, coffee stops and collaborations
On The Way Run Club organises social runs with changing starting points, including cafés and collaboration venues around Phuket. Its official event calendar gives each run’s date, distance, meeting point and registration status.
Use the event page to join: places can be limited, and some editions have an entry fee. The club’s published calendar includes both morning and afternoon events, so there is no single start time to use for all OTW runs. Locals and visitors are welcome according to its website.
Its collaborations have included city runs, café meetups and a relay at My Front Yard. Use the official calendar for the next date and registration.
Joining your first Phuket run
Choose a distance you already feel comfortable with. A 3 km social run, a 12 km group outing and a 5.5 km climb are different commitments. “All paces welcome” describes the club’s invitation; it does not tell you whether that session has a walking group.
- Open the latest club update. Use the meeting pin for that run and arrive before the warm-up or start.
- Pick your group. Introduce yourself to the organiser and say which distance or pace you plan to run.
- Bring the basics. Running shoes, water, your phone and a way to get home. Bring money if you want breakfast or coffee afterwards.
- Follow the day’s weather update. Eagle explicitly makes its hill run weather-dependent. Other clubs can announce changes on their own channels.
For the rest of your week, compare Phuket swimming pools or CrossFit, HYROX and HIIT classes. If you are building a longer training trip, our Fitness Street monthly-cost guide covers the wider budget.
Common questions about Phuket run clubs
Which Phuket run club has a short-distance option?
Coco’s Run Club in Nai Harn offers a 3 km route alongside longer distances and welcomes all paces. The club describes its 3 km route as flat, making it an option if you want a shorter social run.
Can I join on my own?
Yes. Coco’s advertises a community run for all paces, Soi Saturdays welcomes newcomers, CULT invites runners to turn up, and Abyss welcomes all paces at the track. OTW has registration for individual events. You do not need to bring a team to these regular club sessions.
Which runs are free?
Coco’s and Soi Saturdays explicitly advertise free community runs. OTW fees depend on the event. The CULT, Abyss and Eagle sources linked here do not publish a visitor entry price. Titan’s run is a gym session; arrange visitor access with Titan.
Can I walk rather than run?
Titan explicitly includes walking on its Big Buddha climb, although the route is steep. For the other clubs, look for an explicitly advertised walking group in the announcement for your date. “All paces welcome” does not by itself promise a walking group.
Do I need to book?
Follow the club’s joining route above. CULT and Abyss invite runners to come along; OTW uses event registration. Reserve CULT’s track-night shuttle separately, and arrange visitor participation with Titan or Eagle before their hill runs.
Is a gym’s running class the same as a public run club?
Gym timetables can include coached running, hill outings or running mixed with strength work. Those sessions can have membership or booking requirements. This guide focuses on the clubs and group runs above; use the venue’s schedule for other workouts.
