You do not need a gym membership to use many of Phuket’s ice baths and saunas. Standalone visitor passes in this guide start at ฿200, while larger wellness clubs offer pools, steam rooms and hot baths alongside the cold plunge. On Fitness Street in Chalong, you can choose a separate recovery pass or use a session included with training.

Ice baths and saunas on Fitness Street

If you are training on Soi Ta-iad in Chalong, recovery can fit between classes without a trip across Phuket. The useful distinction is whether you want a standalone pass, a spa membership or a scheduled session included with your workouts.

KONG: a short stop after training

KONG offers sauna and ice bath access for ฿250, or ฿200 after a single coached class. Its 13 October price announcement includes recovery with all class packs and KONG Experience. Its recovery board also lists a ฿200 local-resident rate. This makes it one of the lower-priced standalone options on Fitness Street, without committing to a full spa membership.

The website and the recovery boards in our venue gallery agree on the standard ฿250 pass and ฿200 post-workout price. The resident concession is a separate category; it should not be assumed to apply to every visitor on a long stay.

Regen Spa: a dedicated spa on the Soi

Regen advertises ฿450 for a day, ฿1,500 for a week and ฿3,200 for a month. Its facilities include sauna, steam, a cold plunge and a swimming pool, with opening hours of 07:00–midnight. It suits someone who wants recovery access independently of a gym timetable.

At the published rates, a weekly pass costs less than four individual visits; a monthly pass costs less than eight. Choose the period around the days you will actually use it. Treatments and separately advertised services should be budgeted separately from the entrance pass.

Unit 27: recovery included with qualifying training

Unit 27’s ice bath and sauna sessions are included on the day you attend training when purchasing six credits or more. That is useful if you are already buying a class package; it is not an unconditional free pass for visitors.

The published sessions are Monday–Friday, 16:00–17:00, and Saturday, 12:30–13:30. These are scheduled sessions rather than all-day spa opening hours.

Titan: ice bath and two dry saunas

Titan’s facilities page lists an ice bath and two dry saunas. If you are training there, use the Titan class schedule for its recovery sessions. A separate walk-in recovery price was not published in the sources we reviewed, so Titan is not included in the priced day-pass comparison.

For the training side of your stay, compare Fitness Street gym passes and classes or use our monthly budget guide. A recovery benefit in a training package can change whether you need a second membership.

Rawai: lower-cost passes and longer spa visits

Luna Life: ฿200 with an ice bath included

Luna Life’s ฿200 day pass includes sauna, herbal steam, onsen and ice bath, with one towel. The website describes all-day access and opening hours of 11:00–22:00 daily. It is on Wiset Road in Rawai, making it an option for a separate spa visit after training in the south.

Ton Mai: sauna and pool, with a separate private ice bath

Ton Mai lists ฿200 per visit, or ฿1,750 for ten visits, for its steam room, dry sauna, cold bath and swimming pool. The distinction between its cold bath and private ice bath matters when comparing prices.

The private ice bath costs ฿100 for up to two hours, plus ฿30 per 10 kg bag of ice. Ton Mai describes a typical fill using 10–20 bags: that would make the private bath itself ฿400–700, depending on the amount of ice. This is a prepared private bath, so arrange it ahead rather than expecting it to be included in the standard pass.

Evergreen: herbal steam, pool and ice baths by arrangement

Evergreen, in the Rawai / Nai Harn area, offers ฿200 day admission for herbal steam, pool and garden access. A private ice bath needs a reservation, with ice charged at ฿30 per bag; the website describes 8–10 bags as typical.

On Sundays from 17:00, ice is provided for general use, with the entrance fee still payable. Towel rental is ฿50. This is another option where the standard entry price and a prepared private ice bath need to be compared separately.

ZIMA: a three-hour banya and thermal visit

ZIMA charges ฿650 for entry before 16:00 and ฿1,000 from 16:00 for a three-hour visit. The advertised facilities include a Russian banya, hammam, onsen and ice plunge, with two towels included. It opens Tuesday–Sunday, 09:00–23:00, and closes on Monday. Compare it as a timed spa visit rather than an all-day gym add-on.

Kathu, Boat Lagoon and Kamala

KAIF: gym, pool and recovery in Kathu

KAIF’s website advertises a promotion of ฿390 for a day pass including gym, pool, ice bath and sauna. It is a broader day-out option if you want to combine a workout with swimming and recovery.

฿390 is an offer, not a permanent standard tariff. The promotion page does not give an expiry date, so use that offer page when choosing the pass.

Soho Wellness: infrared sauna and cold plunges

At Boat Lagoon in Koh Kaew, Soho Wellness lists ฿300 for a day pass or ฿2,500 for a month. It offers an infrared sauna and two cold plunges, with a towel and drinking water included. The sauna type makes this a different comparison from a traditional hot banya or steam-room complex.

EMPOWER: recovery-only access in Kamala

EMPOWER separates its passes: ฿500 for recovery, ฿700 for gym plus recovery, or ฿1,000 for its all-inclusive day pass. For a sauna and cold-plunge visit, the recovery-only category is the relevant starting point.

The recovery pass covers one continuous session, with no fixed duration within opening hours, with one towel included. That is different from leaving and returning throughout the day.

Cherng Talay and Si Sunthon: options near Bang Tao

Renew: day passes and monthly access

Renew lists a ฿465 day pass and ฿3,500 monthly membership, with sauna, steam and cold-plunge facilities. Its admission policy is 16 and over. At these rates, eight day visits cost more than a monthly membership, making the monthly option worth comparing for a longer stay nearby.

KEDR: a larger sauna complex in Si Sunthon

KEDR’s public sauna pass is ฿490 for a day or ฿3,290 for a month. The site lists dry sauna, herbal steam, hot and cold tubs, onsen and ice tubs, plus a pool lounge. It welcomes walk-ins and advertises 09:00–01:00 daily.

It is in Si Sunthon, Thalang, rather than on Bang Tao beach. KEDR also rents a private sauna for groups; those hourly hire prices are separate from the individual entrance pass.

Breathe: thermal facilities and a pool

Breathe advertises a ฿650 day pass with sauna, steam, cold baths, mineral hot baths and pool access, plus a towel and locker. It welcomes walk-ins daily from 09:00–22:00. It is another option in Cherng Talay if you want to spend more of the day at a wellness venue rather than fit in a brief post-workout plunge.

DOPA: sauna club with a social programme

DOPA’s regular day pass is ฿650, explicitly stated in its 16 October announcement. Its October updates describe banya, steam room and sauna access daily from 09:00–23:00, alongside cold immersion and a programme of classes and social events.

The regular admission price is separate from paid rituals or class packages. For a specific activity, follow the event’s inclusion rules rather than assuming a day pass covers everything.

Guided sessions and social recovery

Our event listings add something a price list cannot: scheduled sessions you can join, and the conditions attached to them.

  • Unit 27 ice bath and sauna: weekday and Saturday sessions, included with the qualifying training purchase described above.
  • The Cult’s Sunday sauna ritual: the guided ritual listing says it is free for people signed up to Sunday Service. The Cult is in Rawai, separate from Fitness Street. Use its current gym schedule to choose the Sunday session.
  • DOPA Ladies Day: the operator’s 8 October update repeats its Wednesday two-for-฿650 offer. Our Ladies Day listing includes advance-booking details. Special rituals advertised for a particular Wednesday may carry a separate fee.

How to choose a pass

  • Compare the same facilities. A swimming pool, cold bath and ice plunge are not interchangeable. Ton Mai is the clearest example of a general entrance fee with a separate private ice-bath charge.
  • Match the access period to your visit. ZIMA sells three-hour admission; EMPOWER describes one continuous recovery session; other venues advertise day passes.
  • Count realistic visits before buying a month. Include your rest days, travel plans and journey from your accommodation. A nearby venue you will use often can be a better fit than a cheaper membership across the island.
  • Look at your gym package first. A training-linked benefit such as Unit 27’s may cover what you need. Resident rates, where offered, are distinct from ordinary visitor prices.
  • Separate entrance from extras. Massages, private hire, coached rituals, classes and food can have their own charges.

Your first visit

Bring swimwear, shower before entering shared facilities and follow the venue’s towel and hygiene rules. If you are new to cold immersion, ask staff to explain the setup and how to get out comfortably; there is no need to turn the visit into an endurance contest.

Cold immersion can sharply affect breathing, heart rate and blood pressure. If you have a heart condition, get medical advice before trying it. The American Heart Association explains the cold-shock risk.

If your main aim is swimming, see our Phuket swimming pools guide; a spa pool is not necessarily suitable for lap training.

Common questions about ice baths and saunas in Phuket

Can I visit without joining a gym?

Yes. KONG sells separate recovery entry, and venues such as Regen, Luna Life, Ton Mai, ZIMA, Soho, Renew, KEDR, Breathe and DOPA advertise visitor admission. Unit 27’s included sessions follow different, training-linked rules.

Where can I use an ice bath on Fitness Street?

KONG and Regen offer standalone passes. Unit 27 lists scheduled ice bath and sauna sessions included with qualifying training purchases. These three are on Soi Ta-iad in Chalong.

What are the lowest-priced options in this guide?

Luna Life advertises ฿200 including its ice bath. KONG lists ฿250 for sauna and ice bath, or ฿200 after a single coached class. Ton Mai’s ฿200 entry includes a cold bath; its private ice bath has a separate charge.

Do I need a reservation?

KEDR explicitly welcomes walk-ins. A prepared private ice bath at Ton Mai, a guided ritual or a limited-capacity class is a different booking: arrange the specific service or session before going.

Are towels included?

The checked passes at Luna Life and EMPOWER include one towel; ZIMA includes two. Soho and Breathe also list a towel. Other venues may have different arrangements.

Are these suitable for children?

Renew states a minimum age of 16. Do not treat an adult day pass or a pool being present as permission for children to use hot and cold facilities; use the venue’s age and supervision policy when planning a family visit.

How we checked this guide

We compared MyFitMate’s venue records, uploaded price images and recovery events with operator websites on 23 October 2026. Direct price and facility links appear beside each venue. KONG’s price boards corroborate its website; DOPA’s price and offer come from its recent Instagram announcements because its website was unavailable during the review.

Temporary offers are labelled, and old event prices are not presented as current day-pass rates. Prices for treatments, private hire and special events are kept separate from ordinary admission.

How we check information. Price and timetable references carry their own check dates.
